Introducing Our New Baby Bag!
Jane Keyser Private Hospital is very proud to introduce our new baby bag. Every baby who is welcomed to the world at our hospital will receive one of these gorgeous bags filled with loads of essentials to get new mums started on the wonderful journey of getting to know their newest addition.
First Cataract Surgery a Huge Success
Jane Keyser Hospital invited specialist Dr M Booysen to the hospital in order to perform cataract surgery on a patient. In cataract surgery, the lens inside your eye that has become cloudy is removed and replaced with an artificial lens (called an intra-ocular lens, or IOL) to restore clear vision.
The procedure typically is performed on an outpatient basis and does not require an overnight stay in a hospital or other care facility. The procedure was completed on the 26th of May and was a huge success. We have a very happy patient as well as specialist, doctors and nurses.
First Student Nurse Trained Through Jane Keyser Private Hospital
Caroline Telodimo is the first student to gain her qualification as Auxhiliry Nurse through Jane Keyser Private Hospital at Thulaganyo nursing college. We are all extremely proud of her!

Grand Opening of the New Operating Theatres
A few special guests attend the private opening of the new operating theatres which was held on the 28th of June 2016. They also enjoyed a tour of the building expansion progress.
The First Caesarean
The first Caesarean Section at the hospital was performed on the 27th of June 2016 by Dr Steenkamp. Mom and baby are doing extremely well.
